KDIGO 2012 Clinical Practice Guidelines for the Diagnosis and Treatment of Chronic Kidney Disease

KDIGO Clinical Practice Guidelines (Kidney Disease: Improving Global Outcomes) for the diagnosis and treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD) 2012 are a review of the KDOQI Clinical Practice Guidelines (Kidney Disease Outcomes Quality Initiative - Initiative to Improve Outcome Quality kidney disease) 2002 on the diagnosis, classification and stratification of CKD, carried out after 10 years of focused research and clinical practice in this area. The purpose of this document is to provide modern guidance on the diagnosis, management and treatment of all patients with CKD.
